Dramatised feature documentary on the cultural history of concrete.
Petrus Liquidus survives the Vesuvius eruption which destroyed Pompey. He falls asleep with his feet cooling in a bucket of water. Upon awakening he has to chisel himself free. Petrus Liquidus takes a piece of this mysterious material to the Oracle in Delphi where Pythia reveals to him how the Roman invention will be forgotten for 1500 years, only to resurface during the time of Mozart
