Notes on DAISIES 1Beginning: fanfare, dialogue: It’s wonderful in this world, it’s super and wonderful in this world, everything is better in this world.....II Marie: Once everything gets better, we’ll be better too...Marie I: Yes, yes, Marie II strokes her, asks: Do you mind? Marie I shyly strokes her in return: I don’t mind. But she also strokes her a little bit like a slap Marie II: Fuck, it hurts. Marie I: You can’t mind, you’re better now.You must be better in this world, otherwise you couldn’t live here___MOTTO:Healing – reaction, lessons, forcing the world into a better place into kindness to one another. Butting into everything. Marmalade, it’ll be better if we put a lot of sugar in it. But who would eat that stuff? We’ll give it to him, he looks so sour.Restaurant How do you like it?–Do you really want to know? There’s some food criticism. They’re going again, tired from fixing the world, they’re going to the pub, again teaching the guests that they can eat chicken with their hands. They’re harassing the waitstaff for wasted time, they’re peeking into the kitchen– at first the kitchen staff think they’re inspectors, one of them collects a fine, the other stares, the first one who took the fine explains to her that money is better than no money. It’s useful and then they realize that they can make easy money.They could be on the commission for the best-quality goods and take bribes.Graves – shooting, explosions. Voices come from the graves or the two Maries will be standing by their own graves: My god, so is the world getting better or not...? Mushroom clouds – they’re upset, why should that fall onto our fond memory? At first they take pleasure in how beautiful the mushroom clouds are, but as they keep growing, they start getting angry.

Themes: restaurant: harassing guests, waiters, cooksŠtěpánek: You can chatter all you like, I’m not going to drink your milkThey’re looking for a diet diet – they take all the harmful substances from the plate and put them on the tablecloth, everything is greasy, the grease annoys them, they call the waiter, what the hell are they cooking hereThey also observe the cleanliness and level of the drinks, the glass isn’t clean, even when the glass is clean the waiter didn’t pour enoughThe healthy food gives them a hangover. How can that be, what kind of spinach is this? I can’t feel any iron!They make decorations for patients at the hospital and also watch themThey save animals that aren’t in danger and get into a pickle They save a snake without a collar and a magician attacks them Lost pet snake they find a lost chicken and give it to someone who’ll take care of it and then they go to the pub and get chicken soup.Park they cheer up sad old gentlemen and explain to them that life is better and that old age is the pinnacle of life for someone much younger too
