Dear Ester!

I found a little paper with your address on it and I feel I should send you a note - hoping it will reach your hands! The two necklaces you have given me has meant so much to me! The first one I only wear when I have to do something very special and I feel I need a lot of help! I took it with me on 3 trips I made during 86-90 to Bolivia while making a film on Guarani-Indians and their mythology. Last year I went on a 5 week trip to Siberia to research for a future film on shamanism and likewise I had it with me all the time. A year ago I had my first exhibition, alone, of my painting, and of course I wore your necklace.

You may know that Bosse and I do not live together now since a few years. I was not strong enough to accept all the difficult tests of our love, but I still honour Bosse as the finest man I met and I did not want to turn bitterness towards him.

He is now very well and we are good friends. I live outside Stockholm in a little cottage and I feel wonderful here, at times lonely, but mostly very good.

If you receive this letter, please send me a note and I will tell you more about the times your magic and strength has helped and accompanied me through the years that have passed since we met.
