Dear Mrs. Ester Krumbachová,

After reading your The Murder of Mr. Devil, I declare that it would not be enough to lock you up. You will have to be executed.

How could you, how COULD you publish what often happens behind our oh so chastely and bashfully lowered eyelids? (“The handles of your little mother-of-pearl shell, your eyelids, dove’s eggs – what runs through that little mind of yours, what clouds have shaded your alabaster cheek, my little mouse?”. end quote). What on earth will we do, you spotted little snake, if men realize what you’ve written? And what on earth will they do, those poor important men?

And all that. I’m even mad for my own sake. Since you’ve written such a fantastic thing that I’m shaking with a desire to say something about it, you must have caused all those illiterate vetting agents to cough up just like that out of hand (what a turn of phrase, no?) that oh so comfortable cliché that “even though I, of course, am no equal to you in intelligence, I assure you that, in accordance with my modest capabilities, I understand how you have enriched my horizon…” Yeah. I’m so angry at you.

As I stated earlier, it would not be enough to lock you up. Because you have drawn up and published for the enemy a complete mobilization and attack plan for the ancient war of women. It is thus imperative, Madam, that you be shot at daybreak to a drumbeat by the fortress wall. With all military honors, of course, for your work (at least the published part), is in all respects completely masterful.

With respect (really, I’m not kidding)
